Polyurethane plastic track and field construction is highly sensitive to environmental conditions such as temperature, rain, snow, frost, and wind. These factors significantly influence the mixing process of materials and the curing reaction, directly impacting the quality and durability of the final surface. Therefore, careful planning and attention to weather conditions are essential when scheduling the project.

To ensure optimal results, the entire construction timeline should avoid periods of heavy rainfall and winter conditions. Rain can cause the base layer to become saturated, which weakens the bond between the base and the surface layer. Similarly, extremely low temperatures can slow down or hinder the curing process of the polyurethane material, reducing its lifespan and performance.
It’s also important to schedule work during the warmest part of the day when possible, and to avoid any construction during windy or rainy conditions. In the early morning, if there's frost or fog, it's best to wait until the sun has fully risen and the surface has dried before starting work.
Additionally, if the site is surrounded by trees like poplars or willows, it's crucial to avoid construction during their flowering season. Falling petals and leaves can get trapped in the gaps of the base layer, leading to issues such as adhesion problems or air pockets in the plastic surface, which can compromise the integrity of the track over time.
