How to handle the edges of a plastic track field?
Plastic track fields often use open-air venues, and there are many construction materials involved. Around the plastic surface, you may find various protrusions such as drainage systems, sand pits, or obstacle pools. If these are not properly connected to the underlying base, the edges can easily expand, tilt, and eventually cause significant damage over time. The best solution is to wrap the base or concrete structure with the plastic surface, as shown in the diagram below.

What is a movable plastic cover?
In a track and field area, there are numerous underground structures such as inspection wells for water supply, drainage, electricity, and communication lines. These typically have cast iron manhole covers. However, since these are located on the surface, people often step on them, which can lead to accidents. Additionally, the shapes and colors of these covers vary, making them unattractive and inconsistent with the overall design of the field. To solve this issue, all inspection well covers should be replaced with uniform plastic covers. This not only enhances the safety of athletes but also improves the visual appeal of the entire facility.
The thickness of these plastic covers is usually around 9 to 10 mm. Before installation, it's essential to check the height of each well cover. The alignment must be precise, ideally matching the level of the asphalt concrete base layer to ensure a smooth and even surface across the entire field.
