Plexiglass material is a member of the large plastic family, scientific name polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), is a kind of thermoplastic with high hardness and good toughness, which can be bonded and screen printed. It is not only worth hundreds of times in advertising production operations, but also an irreplaceable component manufacturing material for industries, military and other fields. 1. Several points that should be paid attention to when printing plexiglass signs 1. High-gloss, friction-resistant plexiglass ink should be used for printing ink, especially matte ink should not be used for surface printing, because this ink is not resistant to friction and its color is not gorgeous . For light boxes and signs used outdoors, imported inks with good light fastness should also be used to resist strong light and extend their service life.
2. The printing film can not be replaced by laser print or sulfuric acid paper. The positive and negative positive film output by professional manufacturers must be output. Each time output, an extra blank film with positioning crosshairs must be output. When printing, first fix the blank crosshair film with transparent tape on the glass plate, and other color films should be based on this, so that the position of the screen printed can be consistent.
3. For fine screen production, imported high-resolution photoresist and imported high-tension low-stretch screen must be used. Such as SBQ single-liquid photoresist, NBC silk screen and other famous-brand products produced by Murakami of Japan, although the price is more expensive than domestic production, the produced screen is clear and the edges of the graphics are neat. At the same time, it also ensures multi-color overprint or four-color Position accuracy when screen printing. If the text is too small and the lines are very thin, a 350-mesh screen can be used. At the same time, it should also be equipped with finely ground imported ink or light-curing ink.
4. Screen printing color matching is generally based on the experience of the printer. Due to the different screen meshes used in each batch, the thickness of the photosensitive adhesive film is different, which often causes the color of the printed product. "The color of the ink in the barrel is not correct. "See the true face after scratching the last edition" explains this truth. Therefore, each batch of work must be printed out with a printed screen for printing, and the customer can confirm that it matches the original color before entering the official printing.
5. Large-format paintings must be printed with a screen printing machine, and small-format paintings can be printed with suction pads. During the printing process, six consistency should be maintained: a. The multi-color screen spacing should be consistent; b. The scraping speed remains the same; c. Squeegee pressure remains consistent; d. The consistency of ink is consistent; e. The hardness of the squeegee remains the same during manual scraping; f. The temperature and humidity of the printing workshop remain the same.
6. The double-sided organic board sign should use a transparent board, and adopt the reverse printing method. After the graphics are printed, a layer of background color should be overprinted. The bonding between the two poles must use screen printing glue. Generally use 80 ~ 100 mesh nylon screen and water-based photosensitive adhesive to make screen, which can be printed on one side or both sides. When the color of the screen printing glue becomes translucent (about 20-30min), the two sides are aligned and bonded together . The bond line is not affected by mechanical polishing.
7. In multi-color overprinting, in order to ensure the accuracy of overprinting, the size of other editions can be appropriately scaled (the scaled size should not exceed 0.1 ~ 0.2mm) under the premise that the size of the graphic version remains unchanged. When printing, the deep version is pressed against the light version, and the graphic version is compressed and placed. In this way, when the organic board is not cut correctly or the manual placement board and the positioning block are poorly connected, accurate overprinting can also be achieved.

8. There is often a lot of static electricity and dust on the surface of the organic sheet. If the dust adheres to the screen, it will cause the text and color blocks to be incomplete, and waste products will appear. Therefore, printing must be carried out in a clean and dust-free room. The dust on the surface can be removed in two steps. First, wipe off the dust on the surface with a damp cotton cloth, then use a static dust brush or dust roller to remove the remaining dust. When printing, check while printing. If problems are found, clean up the screen in time before printing.
9. The products (cosmetics, jewellery, watches) in domestic large and medium-sized shopping malls mostly pursue the matte effect to set off bright and colorful products. The plexiglass board manufacturer does not have this board, and can choose to use a flat plate or a transparent plate to print directly with sand surface treatment ink. After the ink is dried, it can show a matte effect of sand.
10. The size of the organic board should be cut uniformly, with 90 ° angle on both sides and even thickness. According to the size of the printing screen, appropriate margin is left, and after printing, the excess margin is cut. For multi-color overprinting or four-color printing, magnetic white or transparent organic boards should be used. Magnetic whiteboard is used for front printing, and transparent board is used for reverse printing.
2. Machines and tools for processing plexiglass display stands and advertising signs are basically made of woodworking machinery. Table 2 shows the commonly used machines and materials.

Cutting and cutting: The conventional size of the organic board is 1830mm × 1220mm, 2160mm × 1220uum, etc. According to the drawings provided by the customer, a cutting line is drawn on the board, and the size of the cut should be larger than the actual size by 0.5 ~ 3mm. Sheets over 5mm are directly punched off with a saw. Below 5mm, a shallow wire groove can be hooked with a hook knife, and then the board is broken with a knife. When using a chainsaw, you should pay attention to safety, the two people keep the same pace, and maintain a balanced balance. Cutting this process is very important, it is related to whether the following processes can be carried out smoothly. Must do: accurate marking, reasonable cutting, straight sawing.

2. Cross-section planing: The uneven cross-section of the organic board can be flattened with a planer. If there is no electric planer, it can be roughed by a grinder, and then placed on a belt machine to smooth it. The thin plate is clamped together by pressure iron fixtures at the same time, and it is planed and smoothed by an electric planer or a belt machine. In this way, work efficiency can be improved, and the consistency of the dimensions of multiple boards is also ensured. Professional manufacturers usually have special iron clips, which clamp the large pieces of organic pieces firmly, and then push them flat with an electric planer. For small-area boards, flatten them with bench vise, and the effect is also very good.
3. Polishing and polishing: The role of polishing is to restore the damaged organic board to its brightness again. The plate that has been planed is further ground with water sandpaper, and then polished with a polishing machine. During the polishing process, from time to time, some polishing soap (green soap, white soap) should be applied to the cloth wheel to speed up the polishing speed. There are often various scratches on transparent organic boards, which must be polished before printing or bonding. With the advent of the engraving machine, the cross section of the organic board is also treated with a flame treatment machine, but the effect is not ideal. It is best to use a laser cutting machine for high-quality nameplates.
4. Bending: Processing various display racks with organic boards often requires bending the board to various angles. According to the length of the bending line, multiple heaters of different lengths can be made by ourselves, and the heaters are made of flat square aluminum alloy profiles. Method: First open a slot line of 3 ~ 5mm on the aluminum profile, so that the heat of the heating tube overflows from this, the two sides of the slot line are attached with hard wood, which can play the role of heat insulation and non-stick board. Then, the quartz heating tube is fixed in the aluminum tube with an iron clip, and the power cord can be used. Where the organic board is bent, use a hook knife to draw a shallow line, so that the corner line can only be square and round, and the size is accurate. During the heating process, the side of the organic board heating wire must be pressed with square wood to make the heating wire heated evenly, and the folded corner line will be straight, and there will be no meat accumulation or local cracking. Different bending angles also require wooden molds with different angles.
5. Slotted drilling: Slotting and opening are often required on signage panels or display racks. Vertical milling machines are used for slotting, and all kinds of cutters are equipped; a set of combined hole openers needs to be purchased for hole opening. The hole drilling task can be completed on the bench drill, and a common drill bit can be used for the hole below 13mm.
6. Adhesion: The more commonly used adhesive is chloroform solution. Inject the solution into the needle tube with an injection needle tube, fire the bonding gap, and the bonding effect is very good. For large-area bonding, crystal glue can be used, the transparency of the bonding point is high, and the car is still good, and it is also used. 502, 110 and other strong adhesives are easy to bond, but the price is slightly more expensive. In the advertising production operation, there are many enterprises that focus on screen printing and are also engaged in engraving and cutting of plexiglass plates.
