GuestLogix launches next-generation innovative random flight retail solution

GuestLogix recently announced the upcoming launch of the industry's first handheld pos machine, which is similar in size and use to smartphones. The new device name is AVATA-m, which is significantly different from the traditional POS machines currently used by most airlines.

The new device partner development unit is ITWell, a South Korean manufacturer partner of GuestLogix. The new product features a lightweight, streamlined, Microsoft Windows CE/Mobile operating system while retaining all the rich features of GuestLogix's original POS. The new touch screen graphical interface mimics many popular smartphone brands, making the AVATA-m handheld POS machine intuitive to operate and an efficient sales tool.

The new GuestLogix product is only 70x150x24mm, which is a fraction of the other handheld POS machines, and the weight is significantly reduced. The 3.5-inch touch-sensitive color display compares with earlier models and represents a leap forward in display capabilities. AVATA-m still retains barcode and credit card scanning capabilities (standard for the original GuestLogix handheld POS), plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and RFID connectivity.

Mr. Tom Douramakos, CEO of GuestLogix, said: "We are convinced that this new POS machine will allow our customers to sell more products in random flight stores, airline lounges and airport lounges. New products look like smartphones It's as simple as it is, but it retains the high level of security, versatility and durability that the industry needs."

The introduction of the new handheld POS machine GuestLogix continues to support customers' needs through technological innovation. At the moment of rapid development of mobile payments in the civil aviation and general consumer goods markets, GuestLogix is always at the forefront of this field. GuestLogix is the first vendor to receive a wireless card delivery solution for a random flight retail store with a payment card industry certification (PCI). The company is also exploring real-time bulk credit card payment processing to reduce operating costs and reduce error rates.

Now GuestLogix is the first company to launch an AVATA-m POS machine for random flight retail merchandise. Unlike its beautiful appearance, this is a rugged device that can withstand harsh environments during flight. It can still be safely used when falling from a height of 1.5 meters to the concrete floor during impact testing. The new devices meet FCC and European and Chinese standards body requirements. The basic design samples of the device have been extensively field tested in the user community in China.

The launch of the AVATA-m POS showcases GuestLogix has been at the forefront of the needs of the aerospace and mobile payment industries. While the mainstream consumer electronics market is keen to improve existing smartphones to support credit card readers, the same advertising campaigns are definitely bad for airlines. But GuestLogix is still trying to fill the gap and develop innovative solutions like this. The company is convinced that it can be widely accepted in the civil aviation market.

Random flight retail stores are realized through handheld wireless POS machines and will soon become the engine of airline-assisted revenue growth. GuestLogix is the leader in this evolution. AVATA-m reflects new advances in random flight retail technology and further strengthens GuestLogix's leadership in airlines' flight retail and complementary revenue growth technologies.
