Flex Industries of India is both a supplier of substrates and a designer, a supplier of metallization solutions and a packager. Flex Industries' Film Division has introduced a series of metalized BOPET/PE stand-up pouches with zippers. After opening the zipper for the first time, consumers must tear a layer of security film to get the product. Clear ink maintains holographic effects while imparting color. The combination of value-added features, the anti-counterfeiting potential of holographic materials, and the non-deformable support sheets all make this design promising.
