Currently, general drying furnaces use upper exhaust ducts to remove exhaust gases through induced draft fans. However, due to the high cleanliness requirements of the PDP process, there is a risk of volatile substances in the upper exhaust air condensing on the upper walls of the main furnace, which could negatively impact the product's drying quality. To address this issue, the equipment is equipped with a side exhaust system. Each side of every heating section has a row of air ducts, totaling 8 branch pipes that converge and lead to the chimney. Each branch pipe is fitted with a regulating valve, allowing for precise control of the exhaust volume and providing flexibility for future process adjustments.
The drive system utilizes Japanese Tsubakimoto motors for reliable performance. The conveyor system employs stainless steel conveyor belts that are compatible with chain and mesh belt transmission. The transmission mechanism is driven by sprockets mounted on the main shaft, which in turn drive the chains on both sides of the conveyor belt. The mesh belt is then driven via an extended link shaft. This design ensures a simple structure while preventing creeping or crawling caused by excessive load. The conveyor speed is controlled using frequency conversion technology, featuring an LED display that offers a wide speed range and stable operation, ensuring smooth and efficient material transport.
The cooling system incorporates an air-cooling mechanism located at the furnace outlet, utilizing both top and bottom cooling methods to rapidly cool the workpiece, making it easier to collect. The electrical control system is composed of several key components, including the temperature control system, speed control system, alarm system, emergency system, and auxiliary circuits. The temperature control system uses sensors, temperature controllers, and actuators. The temperature controller employed is the SR-72 series from Japan Island Electric, offering PID parameter adjustment, high steady-state accuracy, fast response time, and excellent reliability. Temperature measurement is performed using nickel-chromium/copper-nickel (Type E) thermocouples, known for their high sensitivity in the 100–300°C range. The actuating device uses solid-state relays, which operate without contact, eliminating noise, sparks, and wear, resulting in a long service life and high operational reliability.
