It is understood that in 2011, the "Chinese Book External Promotion Plan" signed 240 funding agreements with 124 publishing organizations in 29 countries, involving 240 projects and 20 editions, with a funding amount of more than 15 million yuan; 3,236 overseas copyrights were exported (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), a 25% increase from 2010, a record high. In 2011, the “Chinese Cultural Works Translation and Publishing Project†signed 18 funding agreements with 16 publishing institutions in 8 countries, involving 5 texts, with a funding amount of more than 36 million yuan.
