The tenth man in history completed 14 8,000-meter summit climbs

On the 5th/19th of this year, Finnish mountaineer Alberto Inurrategui and teammate Jean-Christophe Lafaille safely returned to the Annapuruna Base Camp after they reached the summit. They took the route of crossing the western ridge: in 1984 by Erhard Loretan and Norbert Joos. After this route was first recorded, it was the second time in history that this route had reached the summit. This route must cross 7.5km above 7900M and will be on the summit of Anaphoon West (8026M), Central Peak (8051M) and Main Peak (8091M). Alberto Inurrategui became the 10th person to complete all 14 8,000-meter summits. He only took 10 years, 7 months and 16 days to achieve this achievement. It was the fastest in history; he was born in 1968 and finished at 33. The youngest record. The four 8,000-meter giants, Alberto Inurrategui, did not use oxygen to assist.
