Application of ventilation type aging test chamber in plastic industry (on)
The ventilated aging test chamber is an indispensable test chamber by simulating the aging of air in high temperature and atmospheric pressure to determine the properties of the plastic and compare it with the performance of the unaged sample to improve the existing materials. In the plastics industry, the gas aging test is generally carried out in two ways. Method A: Gravity convection heat aging test chamber - It is recommended to use a sample with a nominal thickness of not more than 0.25 mm. The heat aging test chamber shall be in accordance with GB/T 11026.4-1999 (without forced air circulation); Method B: Forced ventilation heat aging test chamber - specimens with a nominal thickness greater than 0.25 mm are recommended. The heat aging test chamber should be consistent with GB/T 11026.4-1999 (with forced air circulation), with a gas exchange rate of (50 ± 10) times / h and a uniform test temperature in the tank. Recording instruments that monitor exposure temperature and humidity are recommended.
The GB/T7141-2008 standard stipulates that there are four requirements for the sample during the test of the ventilation type aging test chamber. They are:
(1) The quantity and type of the sample shall comply with the requirements of the corresponding national standard for the detection of specific properties, and shall be met at each selected cycle and temperature. At least three parallel samples of each material are exposed at each selected cycle and temperature, unless otherwise specified or agreed upon by all parties.
(2) The thickness of the specimen shall be equivalent to, but not greater than, the minimum thickness in the intended application.
(3) The sample shall be prepared in the same manner as in the intended application.
(4) All test samples of a series of temperatures shall be the same batch.
