The application of self-adhesive labels in cosmetic packaging is relatively extensive. The test items mainly focus on the adhesive properties of self-adhesive labels (adhesive or pressure-sensitive adhesives). The main testing items are: initial viscosity performance, sticking performance, peel strength (peeling force) three indicators.
1 , the initial viscosity test: HD-525 early viscous tester as an example, the use of inclined ball method, through the steel ball and pressure sensitive adhesive tape sample adhesive surface with a slight pressure between the moment of contact, the adhesive tape to the steel ball The adhesion was used to test the initial tackiness of the sample, and the tackiness of the sticker was characterized by the maximum steel ball number that could be stuck.
2. Sticking performance: Take the HD-524A holding sticky tester as an example, hang the test board with glued specimen vertically and hang the weight of the specified weight at the upper and lower ends of the test rack. After a certain period of time, the sample is glued. The amount of displacement or the time the sample was completely detached was used to characterize the tack-holding performance of the sticker.
3 , peel strength: Peel strength is an important indicator to measure adhesive bond performance. In this case, the HD-604-S electronic tensile tester or the HD-609B-S electronic peel tester is used as an example. The self-adhesive label is cut into a 25-mm wide sampler knife , and the self-adhesive label is rolled on the standard roll. On the standard test board, after the sample and the test board are pre-striped, the test board and the pre-striped self-adhesive label are respectively placed on the upper and lower jaws or left and right jaws of the trial intelligent electronic tensile test or electronic peel tester. Set the test speed to 300mm/min , start the test and test, and calculate the final peel strength KN/M.
