Recently, a composite label was developed and produced by CCL Labels Inc. of Illinois, USA, which is resistant to moisture and absorbs moisture and has a protective effect on label printing. The label uses a 3μm thick BOPP film with four-color gravure. The company also produces a synthetic BOPP film label with a thickness of 2μm and an internal standard of 2μm in thickness. The external mark is a seven-color flexo print. The internal mark is visible through the window.
In addition, Wisconsin CI & Graphics recently developed a back-colored, flexo-printed, 1.25-μm thick OPP film that combines a layer of aluminum foil with a synthetic label that is commonly used in the packaging industry.
