Tips | Three Steps to Set Stitch
When operating a saddle-stitching device, it usually takes longer to adjust the threading distance. In the work, the author summarizes a more practical experience. In just three steps, the wire pitch can be adjusted quickly and accurately. The steps are as follows.
The first step is to set the book chain to the right position.
The second step is to jog the device to the stapler's multi-feature.
The third step is to determine the head position.
Because there is a scale on the stapler, as long as the position of the first one is measured with a ruler, the positions of the other heads can be determined by calculation. Based on the shofar from the book chain, the distance between the first head and the shofar is (book length×1/4+3)mm; the distance between the second head and the first head is (book length×1). / 2-26) mm; the distance between the third and the first head is (book length × 1/2 + 6) mm; the distance between the fourth head and the third head is × 1/2-26) mm. Among them, 1/4 of the length of the book is the wire distance, 3mm is the cutting amount reserved for the celestial head, 26mm is the length of the two wires, and 6mm is the cutting amount reserved in the middle of the duplex.
After calculating the value, when the book of the same size is opened later, the position of the rear three heads can be determined by the scale on the stapler. In this way, the wire pitch of the double-joint book can be adjusted in 2 minutes, which greatly improves the Work efficiency.
