Simple and practical car water tank maintenance skills

If you find that the car's water tank is leaking, you can go to the repair shop to check it and replace it with a new water tank. If the water leak still exists, you should consider:

1. Check whether the water tank cover is fastened.

2. Try to inflate the gas into the water tank, see where the water in the water tank oozes out under pressure, and then decide on the repair plan.

3. Unscrew the cap of the engine and add oil to see traces of inorganic oil emulsification (punch or pin erosion). If so, disassemble the engine and replace the cylinder gasket.

4. There is a problem with the quality of the water tank.

If the vehicle is running, due to vehicle vibration or vehicle accident, causing the water tank to rupture and leaking, measures can be taken according to the specific situation:

When the leak does not exceed 1mm cracks or 2mm holes, add a bottle of water tank to the water tank to force the leak plugging agent to start the car.

5 to 10 minutes after turning on the cooling water to start a large cycle, no matter the water tank, rubber tube and pads in the cooling system, there will be leakage at the place where there is water leakage (or antifreeze). There is a blockage.

If there is slight leakage of water to the individual heat pipe when there is no leakage stopper, it can be temporarily placed in the water tank with loose tobacco. Using the water circulation pressure, the tobacco is blocked in the water leakage of the heat pipe for temporary use.

If the water leakage of the radiator pipe of the water tank is serious, the leaking radiator pipe can be cut off from the leaking place, and the cotton ball coated with soap can be used to block the cut radiator pipe. Press to stop water leakage.

If the rubber pipe joint leaks, you can use a screwdriver to wrap the rubber pipe joint clip around the rubber pipe joint in two times, and then tighten it with pliers. If the rubber tube is damaged, you can use the adhesive tape to wrap up the rupture tightly and use it temporarily.
