We’re thrilled to share that our Letchworth Regional Distribution Centre has made a generous donation of £1,000 to Greenside School. This contribution is aimed at supporting the school’s daily operations and helping them continue their vital work with children who have complex, severe, and profound learning difficulties.

Greenside School is a specialist educational institution serving students aged between 2 and 19 years. The school provides tailored support for those with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, and plays a crucial role in ensuring these young people receive the care and education they deserve.

The team at Letchworth RDC is proud to be able to offer this support. Their commitment to giving back to the local community reflects the values of the entire Kite Packaging group.

With over 141 learners currently enrolled, Greenside is constantly expanding its services to meet the growing demand. As more children are being diagnosed with autism and other developmental conditions, the school is working hard to improve its facilities and resources.

One of the key projects supported by the donation will be the development of specialized equipment for students with the most significant learning challenges. This includes a magic carpet, switches, and communication aids—tools that will not only help with learning but also bring joy and engagement to the students’ daily experiences.
