Any problematic areas should be addressed immediately by completely removing the affected material and refilling it with fresh mixture.
When working in segments, the joint area may be left unrolled for about 30–50 cm. When the second section is paved, the unpressed area will be planed, mixed with the existing material, and slightly watered. After smoothing, the entire area can be rolled again. Once rolling is complete, check for any unevenness and make necessary adjustments.

The maintenance period should last at least 6 days after the final rolling. If an asphalt emulsion is applied on top of the mixture, it should be done promptly, and no further watering is needed once the emulsion is in place.
During the entire maintenance period, mechanical traffic or any form of excavation should be strictly prohibited to prevent damage to the base layer.
