Recently, Ningxia Building Materials Research Institute has successfully developed gypsum microfiber papermaking technology.
Gypsum fiber can be widely used in the production of rubber, paper, plastics, and coatings, and can be used as an alternative to asbestos. This product can replace some of the plant fibers used as a high-quality raw material for papermaking. The tensile strength and bursting strength of the produced paper are significantly improved. Not only wood pulp and pulp can be saved, but also papermaking costs can be reduced, and social and economic benefits are significant.
