Function, role introduction: First, the composition of the work

This work consists of a chassis, a main control flow system, a power supply system, a data acquisition control system, and a sample test probe.

(1) chassis

The chassis is made of aluminum alloy profiles. It is light in weight, strong in strength and elegant in appearance. It is equipped with a tie rod and a roller under the chassis. It can be pulled like a suitcase and is easy to carry.

(2) Master control process system

The main control flow system consists of solenoid valves, standard container sets, dryers and pressure regulators. Using the pressure drop method, the gas is filled from the high-pressure gas source into the gas storage container by the air inlet, and then the valve between the container and the core is opened. The gas flows through the core and flows into the atmosphere to record the pressure drop process. The permeability of the core. In order to balance the different permeability ranges, the system sets two constant volume containers, and the initial test pressure can also be adjusted according to the core permeability. The entire test process is completely automated by computer program control, which ensures the stability of the test and improves the repeatability of the test.

(3) Power supply system

The room can be connected to the AC 220v, and the outdoor is provided by the battery that comes with the instrument. When the power is lost, it can be connected to the car 12v for charging with a special adapter.

(4) Data acquisition and control system

Including fast data acquisition, transmission modules, computers, supporting software, etc. The computer uses a portable notebook that can be integrated into the carrying case with the instrument for outdoor use.

(5) Probe

In this system, the probe is equivalent to the core holder in the conventional test, as shown in Figure 3. Includes constant pressure topping, test head and control valve. The constant pressure top portion uses a spring to push the test head to the same degree of tightness at each test and to ensure contact sealing of the test head with the rock. The sealing ring on the test head is used to stably define a test radius to ensure consistency and accuracy of the test.

The control valve of the probe is hidden inside the probe. The top of the probe is the closeor of the control valve. Pressing the hand can close the control valve. Pressing the opener of the control valve by hand can open the control valve and close the control valve. You can hear a "beep" when you turn it on.

Second, the function and advantages of the work

The flow pattern is somewhat similar to hemispherical flow when the gas flows from the tip of a sealed small diameter line to the core slice surface, or the unsliced ​​whole rock sample, or the permeable rock outcrop. This flow state is characterized by small diameters, which are inexpensive, non-destructive and low-pressure. This test method is called point gas permeability measurement. The corresponding test instrument, also known as a point-penetration device, can be used for indoor analysis or teaching demonstrations, or as a portable instrument for field, field research or teaching.

The advantages of this measuring device are:

1) It does not need to drill the core, and it has the advantages of non-destructive, fast and low cost, so it can be tested at high density.

2) The point gas permeability measurement method only studies small-volume rock samples, and is completely suitable for studying the spatial variation of permeability of thin-layer and small-scale heterogeneous cores, and also measuring the permeability change of different cores in different directions.

3) Tests can be performed directly on the well site and rock outcrops.

4) The interior is equipped with a two-dimensional numerical control positioning system, which can perform permeability distribution test on large rock samples indoors.

Third, the application of the work

Since its successful development in 2012, the work has been applied to the course of Rock Mechanics of the Petroleum Engineering Institute. More than 500 students use this work to learn the core point penetration test method, test process and data processing method. The structure and working principle, and fill in the experimental report.

The product is simple in operation, high in precision and good in stability. It enables students to truly understand the process of point permeability test, deepen students' understanding of rock penetration rate, and improve students' learning efficiency and learning enthusiasm.

At the same time, the work has been extended to the field survey and laboratory of a number of exploration institutes and professional colleges such as the Langfang Branch of the China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, the China South Sea Research Institute, and the Western China Sea Research Institute. the study.
