To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan, as the first Swiss watch brand to enter Japan, Shavissant introduced a new timepiece, Aquascope watch. Inspired by the famous Japanese painter Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), the watch dial was inspired by the Japanese version of the "Kanagawa Wave" in Mount Fuji's thirty-six series.

Dial embossing process to create a wave of rolled up scene
The new Aquascope is crafted in stainless steel and has a diameter of 44 mm. The dial is embossed to create a curling up of waves. It is paired with the painting "Kanagawa waves" of Kitasu-katsudo to pay tribute to Katsushika Kita. While the dial between 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock position has a calendar display window, the pointer and the time scale are coated with luminous materials, to ensure that the night can also read clearly. This watch is equipped with blue dial models and smoke gray dial models. Watch equipped with diving bezel, water depth of 300 meters. [page]
