The SZ-YTF-5 Ferrograph/Single-Link Analytical Ferrograph/Iron Spectrometer is a high-precision device designed for analyzing wear particles in lubricating oil. The oil sample is drawn into the glass deposition tube through siphoning, where it passes through a high-gradient strong magnetic field slit. Under the influence of this magnetic field, abrasive particles are separated and deposited at different positions along the inner wall of the tube. Using the photoelectric deposition principle, the system measures the quantity of wear debris and directly displays key parameters such as DL (Large Particle Size), Ds (Small Particle Size), and Is equivalent. These values are processed by a microcomputer and electronic system for accurate analysis. Technical specifications include a maximum magnetic flux density of approximately 1.8 T and a magnetic field gradient exceeding 0.5 T/mm. The deposition tube dimensions are φ3/φ1.7 × 100 mm, while the capillary has a size of φ1.2/φ0.8 × 700 mm. The instrument features an automatic zero adjustment system, ensuring consistent and reliable measurements. It offers both a 3.5-digit LED display and an LCD 240×128 digital display, with a reading accuracy of 0.1. The device can store up to 8,000 sets of measurement data, which can be analyzed and saved for future reference. Equipped with an RS232 interface, the instrument supports two-way data transmission, allowing users to upload results to a PC or control the device remotely. A USB port is also available for easy data transfer via a flash drive, making it more portable (only available on models YTZ-5 and YTZ-6). Additionally, the YTZ-6 model includes a network interface, enabling LAN access or remote internet-based data retrieval. The instrument comes with dedicated software to assist with data processing and report generation. It displays eight critical parameters: DL, Ds, DL-DS, DL+DS, (DL-DS)/DS, and (DL-DS)×DL, providing a comprehensive overview of the wear condition. Its automated functions and user-friendly design make it ideal for maintenance and diagnostic applications in industrial environments.
