These rubber rollers are often used in conjunction with cross-ink rollers and heavy rollers of different materials. In general, the higher the grease-sensitive performance of the rubber roller, the better the adhesion and transfer performance of the ink on it. After using for a long period of time, the rubber roller tends to have an aging film on its surface, which reduces the fat-sensing performance, which is not conducive to the normal transfer of ink, especially the common type ink that is easily emulsified and some special type inks that are easy to absorb water and discolor . In this case, it is not only easy to cause serious emulsification of the ink, but also more prone to the accumulation of ink on the rubber roller, resulting in an increase in printed dots and illegible text.

In order to avoid the above-mentioned undesirable phenomena, we often use rubber cloth cleaning and reducing agent treatment during the work process to restore the good grease sensitivity of the rubber roller. Because the cleaning agent of the blanket cleaning evaporates quickly, the phenomenon of uneven coating, excessive expansion of the rubber roller and different recovery conditions of the rubber roller often occur, which affects its stable performance. In response to this situation, we adopted the following method.

If the aging of the rubber roller surface is light, first disassemble the rubber roller and place it on the ink roller holder, take a plastic container or glass container, inject a certain amount of gasoline into it, and then clean the reducing agent with the rubber cloth at 1: The ratio of 20 is injected into gasoline, and the mixed liquid is stirred (the amount of the mixed liquid should be determined according to the aging degree of the rubber roller and its specific demand). Then use a cleaning tool or gauze to soak the mixed liquid and quickly scrub the surface of the rubber roller, so that the entire surface can be fully wetted. After the mixed liquid relieves the aging film of the rubber roller, it is thoroughly cleaned. In order to ensure good cleaning effect and recovery performance, it is advisable to scrub from one end of the rubber roller to the other end during the cleaning process, and to rotate the rubber roller evenly and continuously so that the surface of the rubber roller is restored. If it is washed once, the recovery effect is not good enough. You can also perform the second and third times until you reach a good cleaning effect.

If the aging of the rubber roller surface is serious, you can formulate the cleaning agent of the rubber cleaning agent and gasoline at a ratio of 1:10 (the preparation ratio can be appropriately increased or decreased according to the actual situation to achieve the purpose of rapid cleaning). The specific cleaning method is basically the same as the previous case. However, it is worth noting that the cleaning after the preparation ratio is increased should be rapid to avoid the deterioration of the cleaning performance due to the volatile mixture. If the aging of the rubber roller surface is light or there is an ink layer with strong adhesion on the surface, you can clean the rubber reducing agent and gasoline at 1:20 after changing the ink or after thoroughly cleaning the ink on the ink roller Or the ratio of 1:15, and sprinkle on the inking system of the printing machine. At the same time, the printing machine should be rotated to evenly distribute the mixed liquid on each rubber roller. After the printing machine rotates for 1 to 2 minutes, stop the inspection Rubber roller cleaning effect and recovery status. If the grease sensitivity on the surface of the rubber roller is still low or there is still an ink layer, you can also spray some mixed liquid on the rubber roller, and continue to use the above method to clean until it meets the requirements. Finally, apply some white ink to the ink transfer roller and disperse it evenly when the surface of the rubber roller is wet. This can make the washed ink color material and the aging material on the surface of the rubber roller merge into the ink, and finally the ink can be fully transferred down or washed away.

This method of using the mixed liquid to directly clean the rubber roller on the printing press and restore its fat-sensitivity is very simple, and can save a lot of time compared to the method of removing the rubber roller for cleaning. This method is especially suitable for the process of changing dark ink to light ink, which can effectively eliminate the adhesion and residue of dark ink on the rubber roller, thus avoiding the change of ink hue caused by the color mixing. In the working process, we also use the mixed liquid to clean the rubber roller regularly or irregularly, which is very beneficial to prevent the aging of the ink roller. The good results show that it is feasible to use the rubber cloth to clean the mixed liquid prepared by the reducing agent and gasoline, and to adopt different cleaning methods to clean the rubber roller. This method is very important for saving cleaning materials, stabilizing the performance of rubber rollers, printing quality and reducing the occurrence of printing failures.
