A "twins" production line with an annual output of 60,000 tons of biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) was put into operation at Jiangsu Shenda Science and Technology Industrial Park, the largest production base of soft plastic packaging materials in China. The production line has achieved “the best in the world†in terms of production scale, technical level, construction cycle and quality, which indicates that China’s biaxially oriented film-making technology has come to the forefront of the world.
Soft plastic packaging new materials are widely used, covering tobacco, food, medicine, daily chemical, audio and video and other fields. The so-called "twins", that is, a workshop that simultaneously builds two parallel 30,000-ton BOPP production lines, is not only the largest in Asia, but also has such a large-scale double parallel line in the world without precedent. Because it is by no means a simple superposition of two production lines, it has extremely high technical requirements in terms of process and logistics configuration, equipment availability, sharing project balance, and plant infrastructure. In the world, it usually takes more than two years to build a single production line of this size; and Shenda’s “twins†line started construction in July of last year and it is now completed and put into operation. It takes only one year and two months to save only this one. Thousands of dollars. Its technical performance and product quality have reached the current international advanced level.
At present, Shenda Science and Technology Industrial Park of 3 square kilometers has fissioned Shenda, Jiangsu Shenlong Venture, Nanjing Zhongda Film Group and 16 production companies, and has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and other departments as "863 Plan New. "Material production base" and "China's soft plastic packaging material production base"; forming a variety of plastic packaging substrate, color printing composite flexible packaging 130,000 tons, 20,000 laser plate production capacity, accounting for more than 1/3 of the domestic market share; " In the tenth five-year plan period, the production capacity of soft plastic packaging substrate will be 200,000 tons (including BOPP: 140,000 tons), color printing composite soft packaging 20,000 tons, biodegradable green packaging material 20,000 tons, and high barrier composite packaging material 10,000 tons.
